Sunday Nov. 2nd Games At Glenwood Will Be A Game Time Decision

Game time decision for all games- 
50/70 1pm 
Minor BB at 1pm  and 
Minor BB at 3pm. 

Please plan for damp bleachers and bring an umbrella. There are a couple of showers that will move through.... so please come prepared. 

Let's try and get these final games played. 

Thank you to all of the leagues and families that participated this season. We enjoyed hosting you and watching these kids improve their game.

Times Slots for both Pictures & Hit-A-Thon will be assigned to each team, prior to the event.

Try-Outs and Safety Evaluations Are Complete! 


All players who register now, will be placed on the next team in the draft order. Once teams are filled, the player will go on a "wait-list" until a vacancy occurs.

Those players in the lower divisions of Pee Wee Coach Pitch and T-ball,  no try-out was required. Registrants will be placed on the next available team, until teams are filled. Registered players will then be placed on a "wait list" until a vacancy occurs.

Need to register? No Problem, Click Here (early registration Dec 5 through Feb 15th. Registrations received after February 15 are subject to a $25 late fee)

Managers,  please check your email for information on Draft Night (draft is for minor& major baseball and softball  and intermediate baseball  divisions) and The Manager/Coaches Informational Meeting. 

Parents...hold tight. Players in the lower divisions are being assigned to teams. Players in the Minor Divisions and up, you will be notified as to which team your child is on, after Draft Night. 
Practice for the Minor Divisions and above begins the first week of March. 
T-ball will begin a little later. Stay tuned for more info!

FIELD DAYS! Field Beautification "Clean Up" 
Saturday March 1st 9am to 2pm 
All Volunteers and Players come out for a few hours and help get the fields and grounds ready for the season. Bring along your gloves, wear your grubby clothes and bring your yard
tools! 

COACHING CLINIC
Saturday March 1st 6:30 to 8pm

 Coach Clay Foley and Brian Hunter, former MLB player, will provide instruction from drills to how to run practices. All coaches and mangers are invited and expected to attend.

  • ~ Meet and Greet, and have your questions answered by your 2014 Board Members. Find out what's in store this Spring!

  • Managers Meeting 7- 8pm. Mandatory for all GWLL Managers, All Divisions. Coaches are welcome to attend.
  • Meet with your player agents and coaching coordinators. Get your rule books, clinic and training information and find out what's in store for this season. 
  • ALSO we're going to provide your  required Safety/Concussion Training this night. 


Equipment: You can meet at Glenwood from 6 to 6:45 on Monday March 3rd. Ryan Wall will be there handing out gear. 


Last Chance First Aid Clinic 
Mandatory for All GWLL Mangers & Coaches
If you missed our heroe's presentation of the First Aid and Concussion Training on Sunday, please make plans to attend the encore performance Tuesday March 4th from 7-8pm at The GWLL Clubhouse (at the fields, above concessions) It's quick, informative and entertaining. 


Umpire Training/Clinic: For ANYONE who would like to learn to umpire baseball or softball.
Thursday March 6th from 7 to 9pm at
Sunset Elementary School

We are in great need of volunteers to umpire baseball and softball games. Please, come and check it out. Volunteers will receive training from experienced umpires. You'll get step by step instruction and all of your questions answered. 

** Current players can umpire in divisions that are 2 levels below their own. It's a great learning experience for our  pre-teen & teenagers. 
Also.... volunteers receive a Complimentary Meal from GWLL Concessions after EACH game they officiate! I know...RIGHT?! How cool is that? 
SCORE -KEEPERS CLINICS

Baseball Only:  Saturday March 8th from 10am to 11:30am 
at the GWLL Club House 

  • All materials will be provided. 
  • We'll walk you through a brief  game presentation and score the game. 
  • Go over the important part a scorekeeper plays, not only keeping track of runs and pitch counts, but your  role importance to the Plate Umpire. 
  • Operation of the electronic scoreboard
  • Experience not necessary! Come and learn how to keep score.  *score keepers sit up in the warm, dry  score towers during games....just sayin'  
Softball Only:  Tuesday March 11th  from 6pm - 7pm 
 at the GWLL Clubhouse
  • All materials will be provided
  • Learn how to score a softball game. How to tracking innings pitched varies from baseball pitch count
  • Operation of the electronic scoreboard
  • Go over the important role the scorekeeper plays in assisting the Plate Umpire













  • Experience not necessary! Come and learn how to keep score.  *score keepers sit up in the warm, dry  score towers during games....just sayin' 



  • Opening Day Saturday March 15th
    Ceremony begins at 9:30 am on Nutter Field at Glenwood. 
    • Players: Come dressed in your uniform &  meet your Managers/Coaches on Nutter Field.
    • Players will line up, beginning with T-ball, just behind 1st base and work around to Jr. Softball at the 3rd base line. 
    • We have Glenwood Players that will recite The Little League Pledge,  sing our National Anthem, and The Boy Scouts will  present The Colors. 
    • Each player will receive a ticket that can be redeemed at Concessions for a hotdog, bag of chips and a bottled water
    • Games will begin shortly after the ceremony. We're adding a few late registrants to our teams. Once that is complete, your game schedule will be released to your Bonzi Team Sites.

    2014 Spring Registration Information

    It's That Time Again!

    Time to Register for Spring Baseball and Softball.

    Registration for Managers,  Coaches and Players is NOW OPEN
    If you're interested in managing or coaching a team, but not sure what it all entails, please contact one of our Coaching Coordinators and get your questions answered.

    Player Registration must be completed by January 31st avoid a late fee.


    We will offer an In-Person Registration on January 14th from 6-8pm, at New Tradition Homes,  for those who do not have access to a computer, or need to pay with cash.

    Open Board Positions:

    Fall Ball Player Agent: 
    Organizes and runs the fall ball program. Helps set up schedules and handles recruitment of managers and players.

    Concessions Mangers Assistant:
    Assists Concession Manger with:
    Set-up, maintenance, and organization of the concession stand.

    Recruit persons for the positions of Persons in Charge (P.I.C.'s).

    Verify concession stand requirements with the health department, coordinate inspections, obtain required permits/food handler's permits, and coordinate the following duties; water samples, food ordering/receiving/restocking and revise league rules for the concession stand. Scheduling teams for staffing the concessions will also be needed.
